Breaking the established rules of the racing genre, the TrackMania series has already seen great critical and commercial success on PC and now Firebrand Games have translated this winning formula to console for the first time. Fitting the large environments, advanced physics and full 3D track editor onto DS was no easy task, but the finished game has surpassed even our expectations.

The game features three original game modes and over 100 spectacular tracks. The classic Race mode pits you in a race against the clock to set the best times; Puzzle mode introduces the most innovative tracks, mixing construction and driving. You must assemble the unfinished track using only the available track sections (“blocks”) and then race the track as fast as you can. Finally, the Platform mode delivers the most extreme and spectacular tracks – race from start to finish with the smallest number of retries!

TrackMania's track editor has contributed so much to the popularity of the series, and is a core element of TrackMania DS! With over 300 construction blocks available, from super speed boosts to curving loops, as well as blocks straight from skate parks and the overflowing imagination of the TrackMania creators, the fun is constantly renewed with an infinite number of new track possibilities.

Wireless multiplayer modes enable players to challenge their friends in epic races, either on one of the numerous tracks from the solo campaign, or on custom tracks created with the TrackMania editor.
